Since the mid 1980s I enjoyed providing child care and pet sitting for local families in their homes. I began working as a caregiver in 2009 for a neighbor's family who needed support, then completed a caregiver course through Comfort Keepers. I strive to provide meaningful relationships for those in need. Through an agency and working with private clients, my experience includes: Providing Companionship, Meals, Interaction, Appointments, Errands & Light Housekeeping. Working with individuals affected by Dementia / Alzheimer's, Stroke, Parkinson's & ALS. Providing Medication Reminders, Tube Feeding, and Basic Wound Care. In addition, I love animals, and have a background in dance, yoga, swimming and working with horses. Looking for work in or near the North Valley.

Rebecca is patient, trustworthy and reliable. She helped me twice a week for the past 6 months as a senior companion and care giver. She has filled my pill boxes, run errands, assisted me in thinking through problems, and kept track of my food plan on a daily basis. Thanks to her meticulous attention to detail, and willingness to pitch in as needed, I am back on my feet after a terrible fall. My only complaint is that Rebecca is too kind and thus doesn't charge enough for her services. $20/hour minimum, worth every dollar. Rebecca is the best in companion care!

I was a Live-In Caregiver for 2+ yrs, while I was getting my Masters in Counseling, for a woman who had advanced MS. I supervised the HHA's, provided medication management., meals, and also cared for my client when there was bad weather or if a person called out. I took care of the house, cooked & did all the shopping. I did whatever was required. I have counseled for 25+ yrs, which greatly helps in Caregiving. Non-smoker. CPR/AED/First Aid Certified. I have cared for a few people with Stage 7 Alzheimer's, Varying Dementia Issues, Parkinson's, Neurological Issues, Complex PTSD, Veterans, Agoraphobia, & Post-Surgical Care. I was a Live In Caregiver for an 82-year-old man with end stage 7 Alzheimer's. Cared for a couple with many medical issues. I have done Hospice Care. Was a Live In for a woman who was admitted to hospice at home. I work both P/T & F/T jobs, as well as Live In Positions. I look forward to meeting you and your loved one. Anne

It is difficult to describe what Anne did for my mom, myself and my family. Anne became whatever I needed her to be. She managed all of the medication. This became especially helpful when my mom entered her time with hospice, while at home. My family & I could concentrate on our time with our mom instead of when it was time for her next dose of medication or needed a particular treatment to make her comfortable. Anne was able to always be present, yet unobtrusive as well. She cooked healthy meals & took care of the house. When my mom was more active, Anne helped my mom get ready each morning & night. She helped her transfer to the commode, wheelchair, chair & bed. Did my mom's PT exercises with her; laughed, did her nails, watched TV & movies & prayed with her. Anne cared for all of mom's extensive medical issues. I would highly recommend Anne for any & all Senior Care positions.
